Affidea completes asset purchase agreement with Medicir and strengthens its outpatient care offering in Castelo Branco region
Lisbon, December 2nd 2019: Affidea, the leading European provider of diagnostic imaging, outpatient and cancer care services announces that it has successfully completed an asset purchase agreement with Medicir, an important outpatient provider in Castelo Branco region.
Medicir is an important outpatient provider in Castelo Branco region, offering a broad range of medical consultations (ophthalmology, cardiology, gastroenterology, dermatology, endocrinology, physiotherapy), US examinations and work accidents medical services for privately insured patients.
Under the asset purchase agreement, Affidea acquires all of Medicir’s assets, including its portfolio of medical services and clinical partnerships along with the clinical and administrative teams. The medical activity along with the professional teams have been transferred and integrated into Affidea’s current center in Castelo Branco.
This agreement represents an exciting opportunity for Affidea to build upon its existing portfolio of clinical services, strengthening its outpatient care portfolio in the region.
