Affidea Opens State-of-the-Art Centre in Setúbal, Portugal

Affidea Portugal has begun the process of rebranding by opening the very first centre designed according to new company guidelines, to be released later this year. The stunning pilot version of the ultra modern design has sparked interest throughout the local region in Portugal, as well as the wider Affidea network.

The successful completion of the project to schedule on March 1st was achieved through the intense cooperation of 156 people – Affidea employees, partners and suppliers. All departments – General Manager, Backoffice, Diagnosis and Labs Coordination, Radiology Coordination, Purchasing & Logistics, Finance, IT, Marketing, Quality, HR – were aligned and coordinated with their suppliers to meet the timings of the project.

The latest Affidea centre is 800m2, based within a shopping centre and, to the great convenience of patients, has extended opening hours, from 07h00 to 22h00 on weekdays and 08h00 to 21h00 on Saturdays, as well as 08h00 to 16h00 on Sundays and holidays.

The new centre offers improved health services to the local community; the very latest CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, X-ray, Doppler, Bone Densitometry, Ortho Pantomography, Cardiology Exams and Clinical Analyses.
